A DREAMY HIMALAYAN BLISS
Sikkim is an Indian state which sits above West Bengal. India's first organic state was previously a territory ruled by the Chogyals or the priest-kings until the territory decided to merge with independent India. Located at a close proximity to the Himalayas, its mean elevation is 8586 meters. Hence, it enjoys a humidity-free weather year round, making it a perfect spot to drop by to escape the tropical summer heat. Sikkim is where India's tallest mountain peak, the mighty Kanchenjunga partially lies. It is also a rich ecological hotbed which inhabits a rich population of butterflies, the rare red pandas, rhododendrons and exotic orchids.
